What LegiOS does
The product is a compliance operating surface, not a general legal AI. The capabilities below are the entire MVP — anything outside them routes to a human.
Capability 01
An 8-minute structured intake produces a snapshot. The snapshot lists the registrations, filings, postings, and recurring deadlines that apply to the business as configured. Every line shows confidence, jurisdiction, and the rule it came from.
Capability 02
Every obligation carries a status, an effective date, a due date, a jurisdiction, a backing source, and an owner. Reminders fire on a fixed schedule before the due date — and survive turnover, not just one person's calendar.
Capability 03
Five high-frequency document types at MVP — generated from the business profile, with high-risk clauses flagged for human review. Not a template dump and not a wall of legalese.
Capability 04
Out-of-scope or low-confidence questions route to a vetted attorney with the business profile, the relevant obligations, and the question packaged. The handoff is the product, not a failure mode.

How it works
Entity type, jurisdictions, headcount, money flows, contractors. No PDF uploads, no legalese.
Compliance snapshot generated. Each obligation shows status, due date, jurisdiction, and citation. Confidence is visible at the obligation level.
Reminders fire ahead of due. Documents in scope generate from the profile. Anything out of scope routes to an attorney with full context.

General availability targets $39 to $149 per month, scaled by business size and state coverage. Pricing is finalized at GA — closed-beta partners get the rate locked at the lower end of the range.

Closed beta starts with a bounded set of states and business profiles. Coverage expands by demand and accuracy data on a release-gated cadence — no module ships until source coverage is current and reviewed, refusals and escalations are working, and a module-level kill switch is in place.
Heavily regulated verticals — healthcare, fintech, defense — are out of scope at MVP.
Encrypted US infrastructure, audit-logged. Not used to train external models. Source materials are versioned with verification timestamps so each answer is traceable to the rule as it stood at the time the answer was given.
Liability-bearing logic — rules, dates, thresholds — is deterministic. AI is bounded to retrieval and explanation, with citation validation enforced at output. General-purpose AI is not citation-validated. Paralegals and registered agents do not maintain a continuous, jurisdiction-aware obligation map.
Closed beta opens in waves. General availability is gated on accuracy, retention, and material correction rate — not on a calendar date.
