Closed beta — US small business

A compliance operating system for US small businesses.

LegiOS surfaces the obligations that apply to your business, tracks the deadlines, generates a bounded set of documents, and routes the rest to a vetted attorney. Every claim carries a citation, a jurisdiction, and an effective date.

What LegiOS does

Four jobs, scoped tightly, sourced at the claim.

The product is a compliance operating surface, not a general legal AI. The capabilities below are the entire MVP — anything outside them routes to a human.

Capability 01

Compliance snapshot

An 8-minute structured intake produces a snapshot. The snapshot lists the registrations, filings, postings, and recurring deadlines that apply to the business as configured. Every line shows confidence, jurisdiction, and the rule it came from.

Capability 02

Deadline calendar

Every obligation carries a status, an effective date, a due date, a jurisdiction, a backing source, and an owner. Reminders fire on a fixed schedule before the due date — and survive turnover, not just one person's calendar.

Capability 03

Bounded document generation

Five high-frequency document types at MVP — generated from the business profile, with high-risk clauses flagged for human review. Not a template dump and not a wall of legalese.

Capability 04

Attorney escalation

Out-of-scope or low-confidence questions route to a vetted attorney with the business profile, the relevant obligations, and the question packaged. The handoff is the product, not a failure mode.

We are / we are not

The boundary is the product.

From the LegiOS voice guidelines. Putting the limits in the open is how trust gets built — and how the product stays out of the unauthorized-practice-of-law lane.

We are
We are not
A compliance operating system
A legal AI, a legal chatbot, a legal advisor
A workspace that surfaces obligations
A tool that files documents with legal effect
A bounded product with explicit limits
An open-domain answering machine
Specific (dates, numbers, citations)
Vague (soon, several, may, generally)
Visible about confidence and scope
A black box that performs certainty
Quick to escalate when the issue exceeds scope
A product that bluffs to stay in the conversation

How it works

From intake to operating state — under 12 minutes.

Intake

Entity type, jurisdictions, headcount, money flows, contractors. No PDF uploads, no legalese.

Snapshot

Compliance snapshot generated. Each obligation shows status, due date, jurisdiction, and citation. Confidence is visible at the obligation level.

Operate

Reminders fire ahead of due. Documents in scope generate from the profile. Anything out of scope routes to an attorney with full context.

Pricing

Closed beta is free for design partners.

General availability targets $39 to $149 per month, scaled by business size and state coverage. Pricing is finalized at GA — closed-beta partners get the rate locked at the lower end of the range.

Frequently asked

FAQ

Is this legal advice?

No. LegiOS is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Outputs include citations to source law and regulation. Out-of-scope or low-confidence questions route to a vetted attorney. The product is built with attorney advisors and outside-counsel guidance on the unauthorized-practice-of-law boundary.

Which jurisdictions and verticals are covered at launch?

Closed beta starts with a bounded set of states and business profiles. Coverage expands by demand and accuracy data on a release-gated cadence — no module ships until source coverage is current and reviewed, refusals and escalations are working, and a module-level kill switch is in place.

Heavily regulated verticals — healthcare, fintech, defense — are out of scope at MVP.

What happens to my data?

Encrypted US infrastructure, audit-logged. Not used to train external models. Source materials are versioned with verification timestamps so each answer is traceable to the rule as it stood at the time the answer was given.

How does LegiOS differ from a paralegal, a registered agent, or a general-purpose AI?

Liability-bearing logic — rules, dates, thresholds — is deterministic. AI is bounded to retrieval and explanation, with citation validation enforced at output. General-purpose AI is not citation-validated. Paralegals and registered agents do not maintain a continuous, jurisdiction-aware obligation map.

When is general availability?

Closed beta opens in waves. General availability is gated on accuracy, retention, and material correction rate — not on a calendar date.

Who is behind LegiOS?

A small team building toward one trustworthy slice of compliance, working with attorney advisors and outside counsel from day one. Coverage and methodology are written down before they are shipped.
